Guanaja is located on the second largest reef in the world. The sea life is amazing here. Since this is an isolated island, the coral is in pristine condition, the fishing is world class and the activities are endless. The island is mountainous and has two waterfalls close to Guanaja Caribbean Cottages Resort. Ninty percent of Guanaja is a protected wildlife preserve, and amazingly enough, ninty percent of all Caribbean sea life can be found on Guanaja.
